HISTORY
In 2017 Joe Aragon was handed the baton to lead THA MYX and it’s ventures. At that time Pa. ‘AGE’ and his family felt God calling his family to the West Coast. He ended up taking a Pastoral job in San Jose CA.
Pa Joe Aragon was given the opportunity to lead this successful ministry in reaching the community. There is long time history with Pa. ‘AGE’ & Joe as Pa. Joe would lead his breakdance group alongside the well known Gospel Rap Group ‘Preachas in Tha hood’ during the 90’s. Joe was also a founding member of Dancers Unique and was a pioneer for the b-boy and hip hop scene in Denver CO putting b-boy, pop locking and breakdancing on the map.
Today Joe is the Pastor/CEO of non Profit Tha MYX. Joe is currently involved in community outreach which is supported by Federal grants & the Private sector. Joe is a Gang Intervention/Prevention specialist and has many relationship with many community affiliates. His track record is above the best when it come to helping teens find FREEDOM from the lifestyle of Gangs, drugs and poverty. Providing teens with a wrap around program Joe is amongst the best in our Community and Leadership.
