About us

The idea came about after 8 years of traveling the U.S. with his younger brother Aaron ‘FLOW’ Sandoval ministering through Gospel Rap. Their group called ‘PREACHAS IN THA HOOD’ released several albums and had a national following/distribution that ended them up at the 1999 DOVE AWARDS for Gospel/Rap/Hiphop/Dance album of the year. While the group wasn’t touring or on the road there was more of a passion to do something while in town. ‘AGE’ formerly launched THA MYX. Opened up a Hiphop club called CLUB OMEGA in the Southside of Denver CO. This then turned into a hiphop church Called THA MYX. Working with at risk families this was the wrap around project that was needed.

From CLUB OMEGA to Denver’s first Hiphop church THA MYX this non profit was formed. Securing federal grants with the Latino Coalition and various organizations THA MYX had now got it’s opportunity to make an impact in the City of Denver CO. Through programs such as Gang Intervention/prevention, music production, sound & lighting engineering, and silk screening the Gang Outreach began targeting FAMILIES. Meanwhile as this organization was taking off ‘AGE’ launched a new record label called GODSTYLE RECORDS and released several other artist through national distribution channels. Groups such as COREY CLARK, REBORN DISCIPLE, ‘AGE’ were released. After a very long successful run in the community THA MYX INTL is now spear headed by CEO and Pastor JOE ARAGON. Pa JOE continue to keep the legacy going and continues to work with at risk YOUTH & Families. Today THA MYX is supported by Federal grants and private parties. Recently securing a $1,000,000 dollar grant to curve YOUTH VIOLENCE in the Metroplex of Denver Colorado. Another great birth was the Grand Junction Campus with PA Randy Vasquez. He continues to reach the community in Grand Junction CO with a movement of FREEDOM!
